Facebook most recent not updating
When you’re on Facebook, as a default, it will tailor your news feed to the most popular posts and stuff that it thinks is most relevant to you.Sometimes you just want the most recent stories, especially if you’re there refreshing your feed every couple of hours.
After it is clicked, the story from the Ticker will appear in the Recent Stories section in the center of the screen, allowing easy interaction from the user. The Ticker, which appears in the upper right-hand of Facebook, instantly shows users what their friends are doing in real-time.While the News Feed has a slight delay, the Ticker is capable of real-time updates, which allow friends to see those updates and chat in real-time.The good news is that the Most Recent Newsfeed isn't gone, it's just been buried. Every month or so Facebook brings in a new UI overhaul that throws all your favourite features into a different position and makes it a pain to find.Press on that and it’ll send you into a long list of Facebooky stuff, choose the Feeds section.
Under there you’ll find all the Feeds you’ve created with your friends and family. You’ll now see a feed based on time, not what Facebook thinks you’ll want to see.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Facebook revealed an updated News Feed with new features and presented the brand new real-time Ticker.
The News Feed, which will no longer simply show updates in chronological order, is combining the Most Recent and the Top Stories into one feed.
Now, when a Facebook user logs in, the News Feed will provide that person with a summary of the top stories since they last visited the News Feed.
To make the Top Stories easy to identify, Facebook marks them with a blue corner.
If you're one of the few who can access the new design, you may wonder how the changes affect what surfaces on the homepage.
